Heute Check-In im Web machen wollen, ging leider nicht, da erst die Passdokumente verifiziert werden müssten. Entweder ich melde mich am Flughafen zum Einchecken oder ich verwende die United App - damit könne man den Pass scannen und wäre dann verifiziert. Gesagt-getan: Klappt super. Beim Check-In wird der Pass fotografiert und das Bild dann hochgeladen, nach weniger als einer Minute war alles klar und ich konnte dir Bordkarten ausdrucken. Super!

Ich mag die United App und als 1k Member ist sie für mich quasi ein zweiter Homescreen. Der Hype um die neue Version 3 war ja gross und ansich ist die App nett gemacht - Aber nicht wirklich was Neues. Die Alte App bekommt 5 Sterne, die neue nur noch 3 - Warum? Weil viele Features noch auf dem „alten Stand“ sind und vorallem die neue App nur so mit Werbung zugepflastert ist. Kreditkarte, Cruise, zusätzliche Services - extrem aufdringlich und nervig. Bei der alten App konnte man das teilweise noch minimieren, jetzt nimmt das viel zu viel Platz ein und nervt massiv.
