The Moultrie Mobile app is a powerful hunting tool that harnesses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to quickly scan photos for deer, buck, doe, turkey, person and vehicle. Inside that app you can setup custom notifications to alert you when a person, vehicle, buck or more is caught on one of your mobile cameras. App users also have access to and full use of Moultrie’s Interactive Maps. With interactive maps you can completely map out your hunting property by dropping pins of Mobile cameras, treestands, shooting houses, food plots, bedding areas and even for blood trailing in real time. The Moultrie Mobile app is also loaded with user-friendly filters to help you quickly decipher deer movement based off of time, temp, date, moon phase, barometric pressure, day/night images and more! Plus, when using Moultrie Mobile you receive 24/7 cloud-based storage of all your images and they will never be deleted. Even if you cancel your plan, the images are yours to view anytime. The Moultrie Mobile system is simple: Use the app or go to www.moultriemobile.com, create an account and register your Moultrie Mobile Cellular Trail Camera or Field Modem. The Moultrie Mobile app features a built-in scanner to quickly and easily register your Moultrie Mobile device. Simply scan the label on the inside of the camera door and the app will autofill the important information so you don’t have to type it out. From the same dashboard, choose an appropriate plan with nationwide coast to coast coverage — no contract required, and it doesn’t matter who your cell phone carrier is! Hate itBugsCameraUpdatesNotificationsDeviceI’ve used this app with 8 cameras running year round for the past 3 years. I generally have 5-6 month periods where it works great, then they seem to roll out some sort of update & the whole thing falls apart! Currently, I can request HD images & they show on my gallery as the HD image, but when I download them to my iPhone or iPad they download as the low definition thumbnail version. I requested help a couple months ago & they told me it’s not them, it’s Apple. They suggested I delete the app & reload it, which worked for a couple weeks before reverting back to it’s previous state. In addition, my pictures routinely won’t load in the gallery till I close & reopen the app several times, and I stopped receiving notifications even though I’ve confirmed all my notification settings in the iPhone & iPad are turned on. This service is WAY too expensive to be hit & miss. You can’t keep saying it’s my devices when you created your app specifically to run on my devices & it’s not working. This is getting extremely frustrating & I’m tired of requesting help, only to be told it’s not your problem!

When the app is working, it is easily the best app by far that I’ve used for game camera. Speaking of game cameras, the Moultrie Edge camera has hands down given me the best service and most reliable operation of any camera I’ve ever used. The only complaint I have is that I wish there was a plan option to run multiple cameras for cheaper than $10 per camera per month. I’m currently running 5 and have been for 2+ years now so it can get expensive quick! I want to buy more cameras and would but $50 per month is where I have to draw the line for now! Back to app, this app would easily get a 5 star rating if they could work the bug out that causes the app to crash! I’m currently trying to open pics from last night and every time I select a few certain pics the app shuts down. I’m going on 20+ consecutive shut downs at this point! It’s very frustrating… Other than this one technical issue, Moultrie has great products and maybe even more importantly, GREAT SERVICE/SUPPORT which is a hard thing to come by these days!! PLEASE SPEND SOME TIME AND FIX THIS GUYS!

AddictingBugsCameraFeature RequestsWaitingI purchased these cameras before the season last year and they never worked properly. They said they would replace them and the did with the same kind and in mid December you know, at the end of the season so they were of no use. Started earlier this year had the same problems they replaced 2 of 3 with a different model got 1 in time to use the other came right in the middle of the rut so never got a chance to use it. Just put it in the box with the other one that doesn’t work that the lady I spoke to said she was going to send a replacement for. These people just are waiting for the warranty to run on on these defective cameras so they don’t have to loose any more money. I stated to one of the reps. That y’all are just replacing a bad product with the same bad product till the warranty runs out. At least she didn’t lie to me, I could tell she was embarrassed but she didn’t deny it. I also contacted the Consumer Protection Agency at the federal government they were no help. They said I need to contact the Consumer Protection Administration in Alabama to file so guess I will need to contact them tomorrow. I waisted a lot of time and money on these pieces of crap.
