Love the application but I would really like to see the choice of changing your plans for each camera within the app. As of now, you have to go to website login and change it there. Please add the ability to change plans within the app. The Whitetail Almanac app allows you to choose plans within the app. You can keep the interface you have currently just allow the users to click on which plan they’d like within that “window”. As far as firmware updates, they used to be over the air. Now in order to install them you have to physically insert a sd card. I know I was told if your camera is working fine not to upgrade it to new firmware but after I have added a 12V source to all my cameras, I haven’t any of the issues I used to have with AA batteries. Give us the option of updating firmware over the air again and just pop of a warning like: “we recommend not updating firmware if camera if working fine. Do you still wish to proceed?” Then have a yes or no option. I’ve updated all my camera to newest firmware and to be honest they seem to run even better with less battery drain (which was mentioned in one of the firmware updates).

    Version 4.6.0

    CameraUpdates

The app is decent, and the SPYPOINT micro-link-LTE trail camera performs well. The only notable improvement would be the option to conveniently add add-ons within the app. In my experience with the app and the SPYPOINT micro-link-LTE trail camera, I found them both to be satisfactory. The app provides a decent user interface and functionality, while the camera itself performs admirably. One aspect that could greatly enhance the user experience is the incorporation of a feature that allows for easy add-ons directly within the app. This would eliminate the need for extra steps and make the process more streamlined. Overall, with a minor improvement like this, the app-camera combination could offer a more seamless and convenient outdoor monitoring solution. I use this camera on my driveway to keep tabs on any activity, and it has proven to be quite effective in capturing movements and events. The SPYPOINT micro-link-LTE trail camera's performance in this specific setting has been reliable, providing clear and detailed images. Having the ability to monitor my driveway remotely through the app adds an extra layer of convenience to my surveillance setup. With the potential for future app updates that allow for more convenient add-ons, the camera's functionality could be further enhanced for driveway monitoring and beyond.

    BugsCameraCustomer ServiceLog InUpdates

For the first month I had the camera, it was awesome. My first cell camera and setup and picture transfer to my phone couldn’t have been easier. Then, I went out of town for my big hunt of the year for one week and my app started failing. Couldn’t access my home page with all of my camera info to change the settings on my camera. It would say that there was a problem. Then it wouldn’t let me access any photos. To this day, a month later, I still can’t access my homepage but I can access my photos about 3/4 times. I tired getting in touch with customer service and they were kind of ill and just said “redownload app, login/logout, update app” which I had already did and she said that there was pretty much nothing she could do. This is a problem because I can’t see any of my cameras status. I have 10 SPYPOINT cameras. Customer service is no help. After customer service replied to this message, it makes me dislike SPYPOINT even more. They are no help. There is nothing I can do to fix this. As all of the other recent reviews state, this is apparently a large problem with the app and SPYPOINT cares nothing about fixing it. They would rather put the fix on the customer to restart app, login/logout etc. I’m moving to a different cell camera brand and suggest others do the same to save some trouble.
