servicepaymentcustomer_supportneed to fix the app and web pages so charges show for knights booked with points. Right now they are not there, you cannot get the amount from the hotel you are at ... they are only in the confirmation email. Also need a way to modify a discounted booking in the app, on the web or by calling the hotel. I NOW know there is a link in the confirmation email, but I had tried to change one and was told by an IHG property to just cancel and rebook. Said I would not be charged. I did - was charged

performance_and_bugscustomer_supportserviceIHG seems to have regular issues with some of their digital infrastructure. At present, their system is unable to make reservations using Rewards Points plus cash. I was unable to do this directly through the website, and their representative was also unable to make this reservation when contacted. They indicate issues delayed to a system upgrade, and unfortunately, I have had similar issues on the past.

advertisementsmonetizationTerrible. Once you pay the higher rate for a refundable rate, the app makes sure that "modify reservation" is "not available". They force you to call and sit on hold for 30 minutes to listen to their ads before allowing you to make a change. Digital check-in stops working 24hrs from the day of arrival. Their goal is to make it as inconvenient as possible to modify travel plans while making you pay a higher rate to think you can. Returning to Hilton Honors.
