Version 2.54.1
gamificationcross_platform_consistencyaccessibilityoffline_functionalitymonetizationInsanely addicting, simple yet challenging. Fun even if you're not very good at it. There are leaderboards and daily challenges. There are no microtransactions or pay-to-play aspects. No internet connection required, making it ideal for flights or road trips with limited internet access. My only complaint is that the mobile version doesn't have the stats available on the PC version (unless they're somewhere different and I just don't know where to find them).

Version 2.54.1
sound_and_musicaccessibilitySimple to pick up, hard to master. With the fairly intuitive gameplay of touch to move trains/carriages, or drag to move lines, along with the steady humming background noise, you can play this relaxed and casually. However, if you do want to make perfect, rise in the leaderboards, or play in extreme mode (no moving rail or trains after you place them), this is also a game for the extreme planners out there. The game's flexibility on playstyle and enjoyment solidifies it as a top-notch game.

updates_and_maintenanceThis is a review for the latest update that has happened, I have played this game for over a year and a half, and It's always been a nice game, but today suddenly the game starts aggressively offering suggestions as to where I should place trains. Usually I let a few trains build up, see where the traffic is and put them there, suddenly today I'm being given constant prompts as to where to put the trains, which kind of kills the game. Whatever the update was, it's made the game much worse.
