When we first got it, you played to unlock, but could pay to unlock it all at once. THEN, they put stuff that was already unlocked behind a 2.99 one-time charge. NOW there is a subscription to unlock even more stuff in the same app. You know kids are going to see NEW and want to open it... this should be a different app, or at the very least an option to turn off subscription content

monetizationpricingupdates_and_maintenanceThe game is great and my great granddaughter loves to play it, HOWEVER, every time it updates, it makes me pay AGAIN to open all of the locked options. All other apps I've ever purchased allow updates WITHOUT having to pay for the app again. I've paid for it 3 times now, but will never update it again. There is no change to what I have written above, but NOW, they have gone to a subscription only service AFTER I've paid for it 3 times at the RIDICULOUS high price of $9 per month or$50 per year.

monetizationpricingcustomer_supportI got this app for my son *because* it initially didn't have a subscription attached to it. I paid a one-time payment to unlock all of the content and we were happy with it. However they recently updated the appto include a bunch of new content, half of which is behind a monthly subscription. It's also very easy for my baby to "accidentally" start the free trial without any child lock on it. I loved it at one time, but not with this new subscription model. We won't be using this app any further.
