Book low-fare bus tickets with more options
With the free, refreshed, and enhanced Greyhound app, you have more bus trip options, same low fares, and more new features than ever before.
• Bus Trip Schedules – More options! Now you can see and book both Greyhound and FlixBus carrier schedules. More schedules mean more low fares on bus trips.
• Seat Assignments – Choose the seat on the bus that you like the best. Want a window – sounds great. More of an aisle person – the choice is yours. A fee applies to select your preferred seat, or we’ll choose one for you
• Show your ticket directly from the app. No more checking in, no more printing a ticket. Simply show the driver the QR code of your ticket in the app.
•Live trip updates – all from the app in the palm of your hand
• App only discount offers. We like it when you use our app, that’s why we send out app only email offers

Version 9.39.0
performance_and_bugsmonetizationThere are a couple of problems with this app. Number 1, when you ask for a refund, you will never get back the full amount, and they offer it back in coupons. If you purchase a ticket for 20 dollars and cancel within 5 minutes, they will give you about 5 dollars in coupons, not cash. Before the ride starts, get the drivers to check everyone's ticket number and seat before taking off because I always pay for the window seat, only to end up finding someone sitting there who doesn't want to move.

monetizationGreyhound works with "We Salute," which is a re-named Veteran's Advantage. They try to get the Veterans to buy a subscription to We Salute+. To me, it is a scam. Also, if you use the phone option to purchase a ticket, the charge is much higher than the application. Tickets are non-refundable, but the schedule can change without notice, and the passenger is left with no option, plus loses his fare money.

customer_supportserviceI have an e ticket. No one is able to find it. I had the whole trip somehow shown on a map when I paid for it, but there is no way to get this information again. I called customer assistance numbers and they just kept giving me numbers to write down and call instead of helping me. At the end I called all 4 numbers and then the machine that bothered to give me it's name told me to write down and call the first number. This is why I will never recomend your services to anyone. I have been warned that flying is cheaper faster and easier, but now I have imperial evidence of how useless every individual aspect of "customer service" is with your company
