I have been playing for about a month and a half and look forward to playing at least one round everyday - two crosswords and two logic crosswords. They also have a matching game for extra prizes. There’s a daily elimination trivia game with the option to watch an ad to continue on a wrong answer. I had to use it on the final round, but the ad crashed the game. I contacted support through the game, and they responded within an hour with compensation. I find the mandatory ads to be minimal, but I like being able to choose to watch ads for clues, boosters, or extra chances. It’s one of the few games for which I would consider purchasing the remove ads package. Thanks, y’all.

This is a fun game, and I downloaded it for the logic puzzles part, not the crossword part. The crosswords are fairly easy, it claims I’m solving them quicker than 90-95% of other players, so that easy. The logic puzzles are a bit more challenging, makes you think a little bit, which is great. I got to level 22 of logic before I had a repeat puzzle, so that was disappointing. But the ads are what’s killing me. It’s okay to have a free-to-play game supported by ads, but these ads are super long, and multiple pages where it forces you to the AppStore, which is too aggressive, imo. So many long video ads that it actually pulls down the battery life of my tablet after just a few minutes of playing. Ads between each round. Ads to get a hint. Ads to save yourself if you make a mistake. I’ve reached a trivia level now, 7 questions, an ad in between EACH question. You play 20 seconds of game and watch 2 minutes of ad. I play other F-t-P games that have no ads, but are actually worth spending money on, I think I’ll just stick with those, but this was a good day-long time waster.

I enjoyed it until the minor flaws got old. Would have been tremendously better: 1) without the animations, with 2) even slightly better grammar, and 3) without the constant pluralization. You’re timed on completion. Okay. But then there are these indulgent animations that make you stop in the middle of spelling a word. When can you start again? Who knows! You also can’t type “over” existing letters - suppose the word is chimney, but the “i” and “n” are already in place, you’d better spell it “chmey”. Okay, but awkward. Nearly everything is plural, even if it doesn’t make sense for it to be. And lastly, grammar! Hint: Not having the adventurous. So it apparently means “calms”, but why is “having” part of the hint, and why is it plural? Most of the words are elementary school level, so I guess they make it harder with poorly written hints. Lots of tiny words, so they make them a smidge longer by pluralizing with “s” or “es” or such?? Oh and lots of the answers are multiple words when a better answer would have been a single word from a slightly more advanced reading level. I don’t know if this was a conscious choice or if the developers were non-native speakers.
