servicegamificationintegration_with_other_servicesThe app shows the gas prices in your area. However, it relies on the users to update the prices. I don't mind updating as it feels good helping out others looking for the best deal. You get points that can be redeemed for chances to win a gas card & badges. They offer local deals & other ways to get points, such as playing games. They send you a card to use that you tie to a bank account, which comes fairly quickly. My only gripe is them removing My Favorite Stations from the main page

feature_requestsserviceThis app is a lot better now. However, a "report" feature would be nice for when you see users that constantly report incorrect prices to attract traffic to their gas stations. False price reporting has been occurring for years, and it's so much worse now. I'll pass up stations that seem too cheap vs competitors. Not always good, because I've found one that really was way cheaper (after the fact). *RE: another review - membership IS still FREE...

performance_and_bugsfeature_requestsdesignI'd rated this five-stars since 2015, but definitely no more. at first it was the buggy glitchy experience the last couple years, where the interface keeps glitching half an inch several times a second. But the last raw was the removal of favorite stations. now I can no longer quickly reference specific stations near home or my commute, only whatever's nearby on the map. I can do that through Google maps, definitely not worth it to have gas buddy anymore.
